Will began his musical career, learning the piano and singing from a very early age. At the age of 7 joined the Christchurch Cathedral Choir, New Zealand in which he was a chorister until the age of 17. During his time with the choir, he toured though the UK singing as a soloist in Westminster Abbey and St Paul’s Cathedral. He was also a treble soloist in The Dream of Gerontius, Elijah, Faure’s Requiem, and Christmas in Christchurch. Since then he has been in many other choirs including New Zealand’s Graduate Choir, Australia’s Gondwana Chorale, Christchurch St Laurence Choir and the Sydney Conservatorium Chamber Choir.
Will recently completed his Bachelor of Composition at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and enjoys writing both musical theatre and choral compositions. He has had choral works performed by many choirs including The National Youth Choir of Australia, The Sydney Conservatorium Chamber Choir, Christchurch St Laurence Choir, Sydney Children's Choir, Moorambilla Voices, Trinity Grammar School Junior Choir and the Leichhardt Expresso Chorus. He also premiered his first original musical Just a Second (co-written with Alice Chance) in Sydney's Darling Harbour (2014) and has had his compositions performed internationally throughout Australia, New Zealand, England, France and Belgium.
